Unlike the crowded West Lake area, the Longjing (Dragon Well) tea village trail offers a peaceful journey through Hangzhou's rural soul. You'll walk through centuries-old tea terraces where China's most famous green tea is grown, pass by the serene Faxi Temple hidden in the mountains, and discover the Nine Creeks and Eighteen Gullies — a stunning bamboo-lined stream path that feels like a scene from a martial arts film.

The trail is about 8-10 km in total and takes around 4-5 hours at a relaxed pace. It's moderate difficulty — some uphill sections but nothing too strenuous.
